NameMedia has some very cool news this week in the form of the Afternic Domain Listing Service (DLS), a new sales platform featuring a comprehensive list of premium domains for sale by current domain owners. Through an agreement with DNZoom, domains listed by Afternic members will now be searchable and available for purchase inside of the DNZoom application.
This news comes on the heels of an insightful, favorable cover story on NameMedia in DNJournal this month. The company recently announced a partnership with LeaseThis.com, an interesting service built upon the concept of renting or leasing domains chosen from a portfolio totaling four million domains with the addition of NameMedia. Registrars Tucows and Melbourne IT are also getting in on the action, offering NameMedia’s premium domain collection for sale to their wholesale and small- to medium-sized business customers.
